Privacy again? Not so soon
Zuckerberg knows our kids and ourselves better than the rest of us, thanks to all the data we surrender to Facebook – knowingly and otherwise. Making matters worse, today's kids have grown up without a sense or expectation of online privacy. They don't understand the value of it in a free society or what its loss can mean.
The article asks this essential question: When will we take back our privacy? And the key to answer that question is, in my opinion, in the first paragraphs: When they understand the value of privacy and what it means to loose it. Before that, nothing will change. The problem is that this learning may have a very high cost, as History, in other contexts, in other times, has shown us.
